MAKING SENSE - Because So Many Things Don't

Scams 4 Suckers

By Valerie Shaw, M.PR

I'm not proud to admit it, but I've been a sucker for a con game more times than I'd like to admit. From clumsy something-for-nothing scams to smooth business swindles, I've lost what must amount to a third of my life's earnings to men and women with larceny in their hearts.

For real, I've been played harder than an inner city basketball. Why, if it weren't for my loving mother and father-who have boundless forgiveness-I'm sure that I'd be living on the streets somewhere in the big city instead of writing you today.

No one needs to be such a big dummy. Learn from someone else's mistakes for goodness sakes! And learn from the experts. Just say no to becoming fraud fodder, con cuisine, or bunco bait. Here's my contribution to your well being; my effort to help you from becoming a victim. Stay tuned for updates, and please feel free to contribute your two-cents!
